CG TET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification for Classes I to V: Candidates must have Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Class) OR Graduation and two (02) years Diploma in Elementary Education OR (B.Ed) 04 years Bachelor of Elementary Education Certificate OR two (02) year Diploma in Education.

Academic Certificates for Classes VI to VIII: Candidates should have Graduation with Diploma in Elementary Education OR B.Ed OR 10+2 Class with four (04) years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.L.Ed)/ B.Sc.Ed/ BA. Ed and Equivalent.

CG TET 2020 Application Form

Candidates are required to apply online application form from the official website . After successfully submission of application form, candidates need to take print out of duly filled application form for future references.

Application Fee:
Candidates can pay an examination fee of Rs. 450 for only one paper and Rs. 550 for all two papers via State Bank of India payment challan OR Online.

CG TET 2020 Selection Procedure

Chhattisgarh Govt May consider giving concessions to persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy of Chhattisgarh Teachers Eligibility Test (CG TET) 2020;
      ✓ CG TET Should give weightage to the Chhattisgarh TET scores in the recruitment process; however, qualifying the CG TET candidates would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment

Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (Syllabus I to V)
1. Child development and Pedagogy (30 Questions)
Unit 1: Introduction to child development Concept of development, stages of development – pre natal/infancy/early and post childhood/adolescence, physical, cognitive, social development, factors affecting development –nature, nutrition, continuity and discontinuity, early and later experiences, social and cultural background of child development, knowledge about different methods to study children.

Unit 2: Growth factor (a) Physical and motor development, development of physical control and coordination (b) Emotional and Moral development

Some basic principles, change in the body parts and their proportions, development of control (macro and micro), emotional development, moral development, (school and home environment, friend, groups and relation with adults, social and cultural background of child development, personality development and socialization

Unit 3: Learning and cognitive developmentWhat is learning and how children learn? Review of different theories- behavioral, structural, social concepts. What is Cognition? Unit 4: Children with Special Needs
