HPTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

1. For Trained Graduate Teachers (Arts): 
a. B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
OR
b. B.A./B.Com. with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
c. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
d. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A.Ed.
OR
e. B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.

2. For Trained Graduate Teachers (Non-Medical): 
a. B.Sc.(NM) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
b. B.Sc. (NM) with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
c. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
d. Senior Secondary ( or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.Sc. (NM)/Ed

a. B.Sc.(Medical) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

b. B.Sc. (Medical) with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
c. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
d. Senior Secondary ( or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.Sc. (Medical)/Ed
OR
e. B.Sc.(Medical) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.

4. For Shastri:
Shastri with 50% marks from an institution/University recognized by H.P. Government.

5. For Language Teacher: 
BA with Hindi as an elective subject from a recognized University with 50% marks in Hindi or its equivalent.
OR
The candidates who have passed Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) followed by BA Examination in English and one additional subject may be treated as equivalent to BA with Hindi for appointment to the post of Language Teacher provided the candidates have secured 50% marks in Prabhakar examination.
OR
M.A. (Hindi) with 50% marks from a recognized University.

HPTET 2020 Application Form

Candidates are required to apply online application form from the official website . After successfully submission of application form, candidates need to take print out of duly filled application form for future references.

Application Fee:

General/ OBC and other unreserved candidates need to Pay Rs.500/- for only Paper I or II & Rs.800/- for both Papers I & II (with service charges Rs.10/- extra by bank) while SC/ ST and other reserved candidates will have to pay Rs.250/- for only Paper I or II & Rs.400/- for both Papers I & II.

Application should be paid through any branch of State Bank of Mysore directly by Cash in CAC Account with downloaded Challan Form from the HPTET website.

HPTET 2020 Selection Procedure

  • More than 5 lakhs students of Himachal Pradesh are waiting for the results, An HP TET candidate who scores 60% or more in Himachal Pradesh TET exam 2020 the exam will be considered as HP TET pass.
Himachal Pradesh Govt May consider giving concessions to persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy of Himachal Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (HP TET) 2020;
  • HP TET Should give weightage to the Himachal Pradesh TET scores in the recruitment process; however, qualifying the HP TET candidates would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria
    for appointment.

Candidates will be able to download their Admit Card before the two weeks of the exam. Candidates are requested to visit the same website to download their Admit Card For Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) Exam 2020.

Procedure to download Himachal Pradesh TET 2020 Admit Card Online

1:- Log on to the official website www.hpbose.org.

2:- Follow the link of “Examination” and click on 'Admit Card'.

3:- Enter Registration Number in the space provided.

4:- Hall Ticket/Admit Card will be show on your screen.

5:- Print-copy or Download in your computer.
