Rajasthan TET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate at the time of applying for RTET-2020 should be having the minimum qualifications prescribed for a teacher for category I to V classes (Paper – I) and VI to VIII classes (paper-II) as given below or should be pursuing Teacher Education Course during 2020-17 or earlier.

Minimum  Qualifications  for  Classes  I-V:

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2004. OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Educaton).OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII:

Graduation and passed or appearing in final of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed. OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).


Rajasthan TET 2020 Application Form

Candidates are required to apply online application form from the official website . After successfully submission of application form, candidates need to take print out of duly filled application form for future references.

Application Fee:

The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of examination is Rs.400.00. for only Paper I and Rs. 600/- only Paper II.

Rajasthan TET 2020 Selection Procedure

1. A person who scores 60% or more in the R-TET examination will be considered ‘RTET passed’ or ‘R-TET qualified’. This will be the qualifying marks for all categories.

2. Negative Marks: There shall be no negative marks for the test.

Candidates will be able to download their Admit Card before the two weeks of the exam. Candidates are requested to visit the same website to download their Admit Card For Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) Exam 2020.

Procedure to download Rajasthan TET 2020 Admit Card Online

1:- Log on to the official website www.examrtet.rajasthan.gov.in.

2:- Follow the link of “Examination” and click on 'Admit Card'.

3:- Enter Registration Number in the space provided.

4:- Hall Ticket/Admit Card will be show on your screen.

5:- Print-copy or Download in your computer.
